Animal Add-Ons

Customize your event at the Gulfarium, conveniently located on Okaloosa Island, with our exciting animal add-ons for a one-of-a-kind experience! Choose from thrilling dolphin and sea lion shows, unforgettable photo sessions with our marine friends, and even a penguin ring bearer to delight your guests. All animal add-ons must be booked at least one month prior to your scheduled event date, so secure these memorable opportunities for your special occasion!

  • Dolphin Presentation: Enjoy a marvelous display of talent and agility as our Atlantic bottlenose dolphins leap, splash, and play! Duration: 15-20 minutes. (Price includes 30 minutes of park time before or after Dolphin Presentation or 15 minutes on either side.)
  • Sea Lion Presentation: Clown around with our California sea lions! Duration: 15-20 minutes. Price includes 30 minutes of park time before or after Sea Lion Presentation (or 15 min on either side).

  • Photos with a Dolphin: Pose alongside your new flippered friends as your photographer captures the memories!
    • Dock Side Photo Session: Get up-close and personal with one of our Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Only 4 people, along with a photographer will be allowed on the dock.
    • Group Shot: Strike a pose in front of our acrylic viewing window with some of your friends/family. Includes 3 poses with dolphins jumping in the background. Unlimited number of people.
    • Snap Shot: Capture an iconic moment during your event at Oasis with dolphins jumping on cue. Includes 3 poses with dolphins jumping in the background.
  • Photos with a Sea Lion for up to 4 people: Pose alongside your new spunky friend as your photographer captures the memories! Includes: two or more behaviors/poses with the sea lion. Only the 4 people along with a photographer will be allowed with the sea lion.
  • Photos with a Penguin for up to 4 people: Pose alongside a feathered friend as your photographer captures the memories! Includes: 10 minutes with a penguin.

Animal Meet & Greet: See some of Gulfarium’s smaller animals up close during an informal presentation with a variety of rugged reptiles and cute critters! Animal variety is based on the discretion of staff and will not be determined in advance. (Available year-round)

Penguin Ring Bearer: Surprise your partner and/or your guests with this unique experience. One of our trainers will act as “Ring Security” while escorting one of our penguins down the aisle with your rings. If you have a child already assigned as your ring bearer, they may walk alongside our trainer down the aisle. (Available year-round for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies)

Living Sea Diver: Amaze your guests with a surprise visit from one of our divers in the Living Sea Aquarium. They will be holding a custom sign (i.e. happy birthday, congratulations, wedding date, gender reveal, company logo, etc.) – sign included. (Available year-round)
